The Challenge

Decommissioning six restaurant locations across two metro areas in a single week required precise multi-trade coordination at a pace that left no room for sequencing errors. The commercial pizza ovens couldn’t be removed through standard entry points. Getting them out of the buildings safely required a glass company to remove and temporarily replace storefronts to create an extraction path wide enough for the equipment and the telehandler forklift. Any delay in one trade’s work had a direct downstream impact on the rest of the crew and the overall timeline across all six locations.

Our Approach

Pure Install’s project manager coordinated six trades across both markets, forklift operators, glass specialists, and general laborers, sequencing the work at each location to keep the project moving within the compressed timeline.

At each restaurant, the glass company removed storefronts to open the extraction path before the telehandler forklift was brought in to remove the commercial pizza ovens and other large appliances. Once heavy equipment was out, general laborers handled the removal of remaining appliances, artwork, and fixtures, with moving trucks staged and ready to receive loads at each location.
